One contact who exchanges at least one message with your agent during the billing month. If the same person writes to you ten times across the month, that is one unique conversation. The count resets with each calendar month, and the dashboard shows it in real time.
No. HeySetter is pay-first: you subscribe, activate your agent, and get a 15-day guarantee that starts when it answers its first message to a real customer. If your account never activates, the guarantee window is 30 days from your payment date instead.
Your 15 days start the moment your agent sends its first real message to one of your customers, not the day you pay. If it does not convince you, request a full refund from the Billing button in your dashboard: the money goes back to your original payment method and the subscription cancels right away. Outside that window, the refund no longer applies.

No. Plans are billed monthly or annually and you cancel whenever you want from the dashboard. There is no permanence clause and no cancellation fee. You keep your WhatsApp number and your data either way.
Your plan covers the platform, the AI and our infrastructure. Meta bills its own WhatsApp fees straight to your Meta Business account: since July 2025 it charges per delivered template message, replies inside an open service window are free, and rates depend on your customer's country. Yes, moving between Setter and Setter Growth is self-serve from your dashboard, any time. Moving to Setter Premium happens on a call, because the setup is done by our team.
